The experience in hybrids has been a natural progression to fill this very needed gap between the high adsms mid handicappers. Even for somebody who hits their long irons well, as I did, I recommend these particular Adams a7 OS hybrids.
Great club from the tees when you gotta nail one down the middle. I like having hybrids and transition irons that all match rather than irons and hybrids which might be different or have different shafts. I decided to upgrade my irons this year and couldn’t be happier with the Adams a7os Hybrid Max set. The 6 and 7 irons are hollow back designed to launch the ball higher than the conventional counterpart.
Hits with the distance of a hybrid, the workability of an iron and the forgiveness adams is known for. The grip is nice and comfortable, head weight is just right lighter than my XL, and much easy to hit and far.
It has replaced my 5 wood! Pulled the A7OS out, put a nice smooth stroke on it, wound up 15 feet behind the a7ox. So much easier than my 5 iron and probably farther. I have never been able to consistently hit any hybrid and I gave up trying. The short irons are conventional.

Fantastic club at a great price Adams make the finest and easiest to hit hybrid on the market. Overall I love the feel and forgiveness in this club. I can’t speak tg other hybrids, but I have to say that these were the bomb, in every sense. Great Club for the price I bought a new set of irons Callaway X’s and it did not come with a three iron so I purchased this club to fill the hole in my bag.

Adams pushes the envelope even further by adding an extra 44 grams in the heel and toe for superior stability in the 3 through 7 irons. The only complaint is that the stiff shaft seems to be not as stiff as other graphite shafts I have hit in the past. In both cases, three of my foursome were surprised: Putting the ball back in my stance a little and not being overly aggressive has prevented the pulls and hooks. The morning after they arrived, I took them to the course. They look great, are very forgiving, and are much longer than my previous cobra irons.
