ABIT IP35 E SOUND DRIVER

Abit IPE with Windows 7 x86 no sound playback Hey guys, I did find a solution to the problem after downloading and installing so many drivers that clearly weren’t working. Unauthorised reproduction strictly prohibited. If its a dedicated sound card try refitting it. Tried multiple Realtek drivers and nothing works. Boot up XP, and everything works fine.

For the sake of 30 quid and you know it’s going to work and give you miles better sound than on-board audio I didn’t see it as too big a deal.

But also, I’ve downgraded to Windows XP now becaus with Windows 7, I couldn’t record internal audio from the soundcard.

If its a dedicated sound card try refitting it. Does that help troubleshoot? If you wanna try one more thing, RealTek have released one more Windows 7 driver just recently, so try that aswell.

I really appreciate the help. Also if the above seems OK try uninstalling the realtek driver and allow windows update to ait the proper version.

I updated all chipset drivers, and scanned with Driver Detective. Originally Posted by mmvm.
